The
Montana Wild Bison Restoration Coalition
is available to present, at public meetings in Montana communities,
on issues and opportunities for restoring wild, public bison,
on the Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge. We are seeking
local sponsors for these presentations, especially in Missoula,
Great Falls, Helena and Billings.

Dr.
Jim Bailey, retired professor of wildlife biology and management
at Colorado State University coordinates Coalition activities.
He has authored American
Plains Bison: Rewilding an Icon, published by Sweetgrass Books,
Helena, MT. A biography of Dr. Bailey and more of his writings

In retirement, Jim has remained
active with wildlife conservation issues, first in Santa Fe and
now in Montana. Over the years, he has written or contributed
to over 70 publications in wildlife biology and management –
in peer-reviewed and other media.
